Painted en plein air on a hot October day along Hawthorn Canal, this work captures the humble yet essential amenities block that anchors community life within the GreenWay. Beneath the shade of a gum tree, its tin roof and coloured gutters evoke a distinctly Australian character. Often overlooked, such structures enable connection, supporting runners, walkers, and families who animate this shared green corridor.
